It was reasonably priced. My stay was very good for both nights for one night stay. I really enjoyed convenient placing of air conditioning and tea, coffee in the deluxe double room. Location: the hotel was next to the fish market and the Hanseatic Museum, and the historic centre of Bergen. I ate in the in-house restaurant nearby...

big room but breakfast could be better
The junior suite offered ample space and comfort. The modernized bathroom with a separate tub and shower completed the experience beautifully.
Breakfast could use more variety.

Standard double room with a very different feel from what is shown online. Location close to excellent restaurants as well as the main tourist area. Also, right by the beautiful harbor...

Small, laid-back hotel in a cool historical building. Neat, stylish design in the rooms did not overpower, but actually enhanced some of the more historical elements. The service was friendly and they were helpful to me with looking up some transportation options, etc. The location is extremely central, literally steps away from the fish market, Floibanen, and Bryggen. I stayed twice on either side of a trip north. The first time I booked a deluxe room, and the second a standard room. If you are able to afford the extra cost, the deluxe room was much nicer in terms of location in the building and size. I was impressed by the cleanliness of both rooms I had, particularly in the deluxe room, the bathroom was gorgeous and spotless.

The style of this hotel is as that name "Hanseatiske". The building is the office of the Hanse Merchent. It's old but comfortable. You can feel the life of Old Belgen.

Room was very nice and absolutely clean! Staff excellent - they even organised and printed my Boarding pass for the return flight. Location great - directly in the city Center. Only 1 Minute walk to the nice bars at the Harbour. Breakfast very good. Really nothing to complain.
Sorry - all was really good!

I loved the charming decor of Det Hanseatiske Hotel, with richly furnished common areas that highlighted its historic significance. The hotel's central location made it accessible and easy to explore the vibrant streets of Bergen, wonderful for seniors.
